General Information

With possible construction on Main Street this summer, and construction for our NEW elementary school, Gilbert Days is taking a D-Tour this year! The date has been changed to accommodate construction, availability, and to better align with the district calendar so more of our community can attend and participate! Activities will be held the Fire Station/North High School parking lot and surrounding areas starting at 8:00 am.

Parking will be limited but available in some areas of the North High School parking lot and totally open at the South High School lot throughout the day.

All activities are free entry and catered for the entire family to enjoy!

Food and beverages will be served throughout the day!

  • The cheer team is heading back to the National Cheerleading Championships this winter in Dallas, Texas! Help them reach their fundraising goal to represent our community on a national level!

    8:00-10:30 am at the Fire Station Community Center

  • 5k Run hosted by the Gilbert Track and Field Teams

    Starts at 8:00 am in the South high school parking lot

    Registration the day of $30.00 (limited shirts available the day of)

    All proceeds to go the Track & Field team!

  • Starting at 8:00 am at the North High School parking lot! Come see a variety of tractors both vintage and modern models! Kids join in for the pedal tractor pull!

  • Watch real firefighters and local heroes compete against each other in a real-life firefighter water wars challenge!

  • The volleyball tournament will be held at Banford Park starting at 9:00am!

    We will play a 6 team round robin pool and then teams will be seeded into a single elimination tournament. Teams will be seeded 1. wins vs. loses, 2. head to head, 3. coin toss. Pool play is one game to 21 (cap 23) must win by two. Tournament is one game to 25 (cap 27) must win by two. 3 player on the court, 1 must be female. Please help call your own nets and lines (if the ball touches any part of the line the ball is in).

  • Join us for a fun round of Bingo in the community center of the Fire Station from 10:30am to noon!

  • Share your talent whether it be singing, instrumental, dancing, etc! Starting at 10 am at the Fire Station!

  • Starting at 3:00 pm on the North side of the high school

    Enjoy rock climbing, a variety of inflatables, face painting, balloon animals, temporary and glitter tattoos, henna tattoos, yard games, and more to come!

  • Starting at 3:00 pm at the Northwest grass area of the High School!

    Enjoy a variety of arts & grass hosted by the REMAX Laaser-Webb team!

  • Join one of Gilbert's art teachers, Mr. Moore, for a pottery experience! There will be 3 wheels to try out the experience of throwing clay on the wheel & learn a new hobby!

  • Cool off with some ice cream sponsored by Parks & Rec on the North side of the high school at 4pm!

    Join them for a fun water fight hosted by Parks & Rec on the North side of the high school at 4:30pm!

  • Play a fun round of mini golf on the North side of the high school hosted by the Boy Scouts!

  • Starting at 4:00 pm North of the Fire Station!

    The Thirsty Pig will service all your beverage needs including non-alcoholic beverages, wine, beer, seltzers, ciders, and a full bar!

  • Starting at 4:00 pm at the Fire Station!

    Enjoy a delicious variety of food including steak sandwiches, burgers, etc!

  • Enjoy Casey Muessigmann & the full band by the fire station starting between 6 and 7pm!
